The company is owned and managed by Paul Burke. The Burke family name has been synonymous with the Canadian flag industry since the mid 1960's when Gordon and Beth Burke (Paul's parents) began manufacturing hand-made Canadian and custom flags from their home in Thornton Ontario. By the 1990's, the small home-based company had grown into Canada's largest manufacturer of flags, banners and related items.
In 2006, and after 25 years of hands on experience in flag and banner manufacturing, Paul recognized that large volume screen printing presses were going the way of the dinosaur and digital inkjet fabric printing technology was quickly advancing as a feasible production method. As a result, Flagsource Canada was formed as a spin-off manufacturing company mainly to service the wholesale segment of the industry.
